It’s also the time of year that I start searching for beautifully designed calendars that offer an artistic landscape for the coming year. Calendars don’t need to be solely practical or mundane, listing a year of “to do’s” and “have-done’s”. Yes, they can be practical, but they can be quite magical and artful too. Almost like an intention for the new year. Calendars, or at least these ones, are everyday art. And we all need a little art in our everyday.
Some of these 2024 calendars are modern, some are vintage some are artistic, some are fun, and some are practical. This year I seem to gravitate towards calendars with witchy hippyness. Yes, I’m all about moon vibes and solar cycles! But whatever the style, all of these calendars are unique, one-of-a-kind, handmade, or small batch designs from independent artists, designers, and makers. And what’s better to feed the creative energy of the universe and supporting independent creatives and small businesses at the same time!
