A new addition to their jewelry line is a black chromium finish which gives the avant guarde jewelry line a distinct graphic look.
It sure has been a while since I spent much time on WHATdesigners, but I’m back from a long lovely vacation in England and Scotland, so it’s time to get back into the swing of things. So here I start blogging again… My mailbox is often filled with the usual dross interspersed with the occassional [...]
With Father’s Day just around the corner, I decided to make the design of the week something for the Dads out there. Sherry Truitt has been featured before on the WHAT designers blog with her fabulous “spirit level” cufflinks.
Like many cats, my cats have always sought out the most trashed, ill fitting cardboard box to call home. The Pet Chalet is bound to make them – and their design aficionado “parents” – happy. Puckman, the brainchild of Italian design company, Mirko Ginepro Design is a fun homage to the video game character and practical too. Stack it full of books, or display your collection of other 80′s trivia – it’s really up to you. Just please [...]

The font is obviously inspired by the stalwart Helvetica, but with a hand-sketched feel. Modernist graphic designers don’t despair! It’s really still like Helvetica, but I must warn you there is a little coloring outside the lines.
These modern test tube vases by Pigeon Toe Ceramics are the perfect canvas for the deliciously simplest of new spring flowers. And although, they don’t have a floral motif on them I can’t think of a better design to epitomize spring florals.
The Christian Louboutin Anemone Bow shoes linocut block print by Anna See is most definitely a design of the week. Beautiful color, modern style and at $15 – a tad cheaper than any Louboutin heels.

If I could fly over to London on a whim, I would love to take a peek at Tent London 2010. But I can’t so you lucky London dwellers should saunter over to the East End for over 200 emerging and established designers. Tent London takes place 3-26 September 2010, Brick Lane, London E1.
I just love this top…and yes, despite looking somewhat fantastic on the model here, mere mortals shouldn’t wear it as a dress.

I wouldn’t say April was a quiet month, but I didn’t seem to find time to select too many pieces for this months slideshow. I will try better in May….and hope you enjoy these finds.
