Handmade / hand dyed shoulder bag from Rennes + Ilana

The Design Of The Week this time is a collaboration between Boston based bag designer, rennes-le-château and Brooklyn based textile designer, Ilana Kohn.

Ilana Kohn dyes the fabric in her studio and from then it’s off to Boston for Renne to sew, each bag unique due to the dying process. We’ve featured Renne Le Chateau in the blog before (5 fave black bags), and love the casual ease and simplicity of the bags.

The limited edition Sker Tote is made from hand dyed blue and grey canvas with leather handles and bottom, with a zipper pocket on the inside.
