I love myself a good old font – and so suprisingly I’ve picked the font Sketchetica for my design of the week.
The font is obviously inspired by the stalwart Helvetica, but with a hand-sketched feel. Modernist graphic designers don’t despair! It’s really still like Helvetica, but I must warn you there is a little coloring outside the lines. Not scribble-scrabble, more like a lone creative in an awfully long meeting with nothing more than pencil and paper and a love for typeography to calm the mind.
Designed by Hiekka Graphics in Finland, Stetchetica is available in 4 styles; light, regular, bold and black. The 4-pack is available for $39 through MyFonts.com. As a bonus, the light version can be downloaded for free.
